Proper Training Technique

Of course training in the Underground can be unsafe due its its challenging nature, but we are happy to say that in the last 18 months of operation we have never had a serious injury! That’s an over-whelming track record for any training club. We are there to ensure you do things correctly. Of course there is always room for improvement, so no better way to get it right than to practice it before general attendance.

The most important thing to consider is your spine. We place the most emphasis on protecting your back. Going from there we seek to improve technique so you develop the foundations of strength correctly, ensuring a strong and correctly aligned posture.

If you want any additional help, you can contact us to request a personal training training session. We could also give you some home training exercises to help you really over-come any possible postural issues. In more extreme cases we can refer you onto a physio for more specialized work.
